We have tried many chalk paints, like Annie Sloan and CeCe Caldwell's and while we think they do an excellent job, we were not happy with the price and the limmited color selections.  We spend a lot of time working on our own receipe to create a chalk powder that you could add to paint that would covered well, have a super matte finish, distress well and could be used as a chalkboard as well.  We finally found the right concoction and are very excited about it.  We have used it on several projects and are thrilled with how it works.

 

Chalk Powder is very easy to work with.  Just add to any latex paint and you are able to create your own chalk paint and chalk board paint.  Chalk paint very rarely requires any preparation, such as sanding or priming, and can be used indoors or outside, on just about any surface - from wood to metal, and plastic to fabric.  It can revitalize old furniture, walls, ceilings and floors with ease.
